Delicious Steak Dinner

you've GOT to see this.

Tonight I made a special dinner.

Steak. I bought a thicker cut than usual. I seasoned both sides with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. Then I put them in a hot pan, no oil or anything, just the steaks on the pan. I left them for 4 min on one side before i flipped it, then 4 min on the other side then I took them off the heat and put them on a plate. They came out PERFECT! not only a great texture but perfectly seasoned! In fact i was supposed to brush with olive oil then season it but i forgot that step. and they still came out perfect. so delicious. I always have bad luck cooking steaks in the pan. they always come out all rubbery. but this time they were perfect.

Spinach. I bought a pack of baby spinach. I sometimes use it for salads. I put some olive oil in a pan, crushed some garlic and added it to the oil. Then when the garlic was starting to carmelize i took it out of the oil. this way you get the garlic taste without the actual garlic. thank god because the stuff makes me bloat so much. so then i put the spinach in, and just let it get nice and wet. then added salt and pepper. mixed it all together. just enough to let it get wilted. i didn't want it to turn to mush. it came out really yummy. and as you can see its a nice bright green.

the sweet potato fries. wow now this was something special. i found these ALEXIA julienne fries at the store.

They take all the work out of it. And I swear they were in the oven and it smelled like mcdonalds fries. they were good. i sprinkled some cinnamon and sugar on them.

And here is the beautiful result.
