Lemon makes it better

So I've been drinking only water for a month now. pretty good eh? and i've found that with a slice of lemon its good. without it, its just too plain and water like. amazing how a little slice of lemon makes water drinkable. but i recently made a new discovery.

I bought some red delicious apples the other day and I cut one in half. I used one half to cut into wedges for lunch and the other half i put it away. But I heard that if you squeeze a little lemon on it, it won't go brown. So I did. Then I squeezed some lemon on the apple wedges before I ate them, just so they wouldn't go brown either. What I discovered was that the lemon gave the apples a real burst of flavor! They were already sweet but the lemon made them juicier and a little tangy. I mean wow. They tasted like slices of apple lemonade! I guess the sweetness of the apples with the tartness of the lemons is a perfect match. I mean I was biting into the apple wedges and actually gulping juice down between bites. Yum yum. I liked it so much that I did it with all my apples every time I ate them. I really really loved the taste so now i'll squeeze 2 slim slices of lemon on my apples and even rub the lemon on each slice to get the maximum flavor. But you can just squeeze some lemon onto the non peel side of the apple slices and you'll see what I mean. I would imagine lemonade with apple slices floating in it might be good. Or apple juice with lemon slices. LoL.

*Remember if you do this to use Red Delicious Apples. I would not advise you to do this with Granny Smith Apples as they are already sour.
