Welcome to the babble!

Warning: I talk a lot! About anything and everything. I don't hold back. So buckle up.

in 2010 I got the gastric sleeve and I couldn't be happier with my decision. My new life has finally begun!

Finally in 2012 I got my life's wish of being pregnant. Now this blog has transitioned from random blabber, to weight loss, to being a new mommy.
It's ever changing and ever evolving, just like me.

Katy Perry on The View

I've never seen something like this before.

Katy Perry sang her hit "I kissed a girl" on The View today. And the women in the audience went CRAZY for her. They looked at her like they were in love with her. And at times she would reach out and touch the women in the audience and sing to them. If you sing a song called "I kissed a girl" you have 2 ways you could handle it when singing to a bunch of women. A. feel awkward about it. B. totally milk it and flirt your ass off. She chose the latter.

I just thought it was HILARIOUS to see these soccer moms getting giddy about their bi curiosity. When I was in high school being bisexual was all the rage. It used to be a college thing but girls are getting younger and younger. Now its probably like middle school girls kissing to get a guy's attention. But anyway its a young girl thing. But to see all these older women, most married with children and some even older, getting their bi on. You know when they drop their kids off at the soccer game they're checking out the other moms. LOL.

No but the best part was when Elizabeth and Sherri did the post interview with her on stage. Elizabeth asks her about her controversial songs. Like how "You're so gay" could be seen as homophobic. But if you listen to the lyrics she says "you're so gay but you don't even like boys". Its about metorsexual guys. Last I checked the metros were fair play. And of course the controversy of "I kissed a girl" which is that it might make young girls experiment. Wow. Well I say if her song is causing girls to experiment then, A. girls are stupid and B. she must have super powers. She should do a song about eating healthy and exercising. Or maybe world peace! We need to harness this power for good.

/end rant.

Disclaimer: I'm not against bisexuality or experimentation by any means. I just think its completely lame when girls do it to be trendy. Or to get attention from guys. And sadly thats why most of these girls do it or say they do it. To get attention from boys. I also think its completely unfair how "hip" it is for girls to be bisexual or bicurious and yet for a guy its completely unacceptable. Girls kissing other girls = hot. Guys kissing other guys = gay. Do you see the double standard?
