If you've never had them before, they're similar to lychees in texture. Though I've never had a lychee before. These are carribean fruits. Cubans call them "mamoncillos", Puerto Ricans call them "quenepas", Dominicans call them "limoncillos" and Jamaicans call them gineps.

oh and we got a new blender. one that actually crushes ice. the other one we had would leave big chunks of ice. it sucked. this way i can adds fruits to my HMR shakes and make it thicker like a milk shake if i want. i'm ready! my HMR food should be coming monday and i'm excited! i'm all ready to go. i shouldn't have to do groceries for a while. not for me anyway.
