You know what i noticed? since i started working out i haven't wanted protein shakes. i drink one before a workout but i used to drink one every morning but now i'm like I WANT FOOD. i just want food now. i would rather eat than drink a protein shake.
i've heard some people say they stopped drinking protein shakes when they started eating food. i've heard some say they were years out and still drink a protein shake a day. i was just wondering where you guys stand on the whole protein shake thing.
i feel a bit guilty not drinking one every morning, and sometimes not at all, but i guess its not a bad thing to get my protein from food instead.

I still drink protein shakes all the time. I drink one almost every day for breakfast and sometimes for lunch too or a snack. I like the simplicity of not having to cook anything. Laziness! haha
ReplyDeleteI have a protein drink every morning, but it's just because I don't feel like eating in the morning. I was that way before being banded though. I say if you're hungry, it's better to get your calories and protein from food that will fill you up.
