Welcome to the babble!

Warning: I talk a lot! About anything and everything. I don't hold back. So buckle up.

in 2010 I got the gastric sleeve and I couldn't be happier with my decision. My new life has finally begun!

Finally in 2012 I got my life's wish of being pregnant. Now this blog has transitioned from random blabber, to weight loss, to being a new mommy.
It's ever changing and ever evolving, just like me.

Lettuce beautiful lettuce

I have always loved loved loved lettuce. I love it on sandwiches, i love it in tacos, i love it as a wrap, in salads, you name it. When I was living at home i'd sometimes get a leaf of lettuce and pour some dressing on it, roll it up and eat it. I love iceburg. Romaine is great for salads.

But I'm really worried that this may become one of those foods I can't eat anymore. Simply because it will get stuck and cause major discomfort. I have no idea as I'm not to the point where I can even try it yet. I hear you have to be 3 months out or so? There are some things that don't phase me and I can live without no problem. But lettuce? I will for sure miss lettuce if I can't have it.

What about you guys? Can you all tolerate lettuce?

  2. Food intolerances depend on the person, you are just gonna have to try it and see. And I know right now it sounds terrible, but when there are foods that you just cant eat you eventually dont pine and burn for them. It only takes one or two horrible experiences of voming and sliming all over yourself and then you are just over that food. And trust me even the best foods dont taste good coming back up and you eventually dont want anything to do with it.
