another sad weigh in
i lost .5lbs. i weighed again later. 1lb. so 1lb lost. well..on the one hand i shouldn't complain because i usually lose .5-2lbs a week. but the week before last i only lost .5lbs, and last week i lost NOTHING! and even with going to the gym and eating hardly anything i only lose .5lbs? ugh come on man. whats going on? when is this gonna go away? when am i gonna lose the rest of this weight? i was on such a roll, only 40lbs away from goal. and its taken me a month to lose 3lbs?!! this is bad. very bad. :(

Ugh! Hang in there. It's not easy but you are doing so well! Frustration is weightloss's greatest enemy - so yell at that frustration and tell it to behave!
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, keep on keepin on. I'm wondering - do you do and weightlifting? Change up either the weights or the reps for some variation...
No matter what, hang in there! The scale will eventually get the memo.

ReplyDeleteTime for some tough love, girlie. :-) You are LOSING weight. It's not a race. You've lost a shitload of weight and sometimes the scale needs to catch up. It's not just about the destination, but the journey too. You have done AMAZINGLY well and if you're not enjoying it, well, you should be! Look back at some pictures of where you were a year ago and tell me how any weigh in where you are LOSING can possibly be sad. You are awesome, chica, and I hope you know that!!!
ReplyDeletethanks guys i really appreciate the support. i just get dramatic on weigh in days because i look sooo forward to them. but you're right i'm doing well, i'm just gonna keep on trucking till the scale catches up. and in the meantime i'll probably bitch about it. lol. so glad to have my girls supporting me. thank you!!
