I was reading the forums and there was one post where someone asked if anyone had any regrets. the only regret people said was that they wish they had done it sooner when their children were young so they could have had more energy. and it brings a giant smile to my face. i know that doing this before i have children is the right thing. and it will be a sacrifice for me to have to wait but it will all be worth it in the end.
i'm so happy.
also i should let you guys know that i have made up my mind and i do want the gastric sleeve. its just what i thought was the best choice for me. but i believe that no matter what WLS you choose, you're taking a big step in the right direction. we're all weight loss sisters. we might have different experiences but we're all on the same weight loss journey. :)

ReplyDeleteSpeaking from experience, getting the surgery before kids is the best thing -- for future you, future kids, and the pregnancies. At least for me it was. I hadn't lost a lot of weight before I got preg, but I can assure you I would've gained a LOT more than I did if I hadn't gotten the band first.
