in 2010 I got the gastric sleeve and I couldn't be happier with my decision. My new life has finally begun!

Finally in 2012 I got my life's wish of being pregnant. Now this blog has transitioned from random blabber, to weight loss, to being a new mommy.

Just My Size Yoga

I never had luck with yoga because I couldn't do most of the moves because of my weight. But I want to get into yoga because it will help with flexibility which I think will be an asset to me when I become pregnant and give birth. So I looked online to see if there was yoga for heavier people and I found this DVD called JUST MY SIZE YOGA. Lucky for me they had it on netflix so I was able to rent it instead of buying it.

I just did it now for the first time. I love how beginner it is and how gentle it is. I was able to do some of it and found that even low impact stuff like that can be a work out. If you already do yoga you might think this dvd is too easy for you. But frankly I found some of it challenging. There are some moves I just can't do. My thighs are huge and so is my gut and there's just no way i can get my knee up close. Most of my weight is up front for me. And the stuff with me on all 4's, though its easy enough, I just can't be on my knees that long. It hurts. The woman doing the video is plus size but she seems to be in shape. I'm just fat. There are just some things I can't do. Which sucks I have to say. Because I want to do them. I'll try to stick to the moves I can do. Maybe with time I'll become more flexible. I figure if my ass can't bring myself to the gym I can at least try to do a little yoga.

  1. Just try everyday, and everyday it will get easier. I would also recommend some cardio, because Yoga isn't usually a very fat burning, take a walk, even if its short, 5 mins 10 mins or more and work your way up. Plus once you get yur band it will get progressively easier! Good luck
